- BJP MP demands reservation in private sector
By Dheeraj Fartode
Blaming selfishness of Dalit leaders for derailing Dalit movement, Member of Parliament (MP) representing Delhi North-West constituency and BJP leader Dr Udit Raj on Sunday also blamed the established leadership of dalit politicians for spoiling the movement for their personal ego and political benefits. At the same time, he once again raised the demand of reservation for dalits in private sector and warned of stir.
Addressing a press conference at Ravi Bhavan, a former IRS officer Dr Udit Raj further said, leaders tried to become bigger than the movement and very soon lost mass connect. Their indifference towards the issues of backward classes resulted in loss of sympathy towards them and pessimism among masses due to which once strong movement lost its sheen across the country.
