  Sitting amid the blackened remains of his home, 32-year-old Nikesh Gawali carefully broke open a half-melted plastic box with a screwdriver. His hands shook slightly, not out of fear, but out of hope. “I’m trying to find my daughter Aarti’s gold earrings,” he said quietly, still focused on the box. “She’s just five. I got them made recently after months of labour work.” The plastic box, warped and blackened by heat, was one of the few things left from his two-room house on the outskirts of Dhamangaon village . All around him lay ash, broken tin sheets and charred wooden beams. The walls had cracked under the heat and the front room’s tin roof had caved in completely. The story of serial killer

Thin in a body and with average height, Ramesh was living at Tulsi Nagar area, which is 300 meters away from Railway Line. He had a younger brother and a mother. From childhood, Ramesh had no friends as he was psychopath. In a fit, he started yelling or tried to beaten up anyone since childhood. He had beaten up his mother and brother too and they were living in another part of the house after doing participation work in the house. 
Ramesh was used to do work of cleaning in Bars or small roadside restaurants. However, the psychopath decease forced every owner to remove him from the jobs. Meanwhile, the deceased turned to sever turn.
On February 14, Ramesh again suffered a fits and came out from the house in rage with a sharp edged weapon. This time the fit was very serious and he was trying to stab someone. He noticed a 30-year-old man walking from the area. He approached him and threatened with sharp-edged weapon and asked to follow him. The man followed Ramesh in a fear. Ramesh took him near nullah and suddenly attacked with the sharp-edged weapon. He stabbed him on stomach and chest for five times in span of 10 second. The man collapsed on the ground in pool of blood. Ramesh continued stabbing on head, face, neck, chest, stomach, thigh and backside too. The man breathed last on the spot and Ramesh left the spot. 
On Sunday morning, a resident of area found the body and informed the police. Staff of Nandanvan police rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy. The autopsy report reveled 110 injuries on the body. Before cops could decide angle of investigation, another dead body found near Nehru Nagar, Railway crossing on Monday morning. As the nature of murder was same, cops came to conclusion that same persons is the accused in the both cases. 
Top brass of city police asked all subordinates to increase patrolling at all roads and localities on the city. A patrolling party of Kalamna police station noticed a 20-year-old youth with a bag at Pardi Road walking towards Tulsi Nagar at 2 am of Tuesday. 
During physical check, cops recovered a knife and clothes with blood stains. The police immediately took him to the police station. He was Ramesh, who was coming back after killing third person near Baradwari lake, Kalamna on Tuesday night. 
During interrogation, Ramesh told the police that he had found the bag at isolated place. Special teams were sent to Bhandara as the Ramesh told police that he is living at Bhandara. 
After interrogation of around 12 hours, Ramesh spilled the beans and confessed for the crime.
