  Sitting amid the blackened remains of his home, 32-year-old Nikesh Gawali carefully broke open a half-melted plastic box with a screwdriver. His hands shook slightly, not out of fear, but out of hope. “I’m trying to find my daughter Aarti’s gold earrings,” he said quietly, still focused on the box. “She’s just five. I got them made recently after months of labour work.” The plastic box, warped and blackened by heat, was one of the few things left from his two-room house on the outskirts of Dhamangaon village . All around him lay ash, broken tin sheets and charred wooden beams. The walls had cracked under the heat and the front room’s tin roof had caved in completely. What remained was a blackened debris all around - almost nothing to suggest a home once stood there. Nikesh earns his living as an agricultural labourer, like many in the village. Fog affected train movement on Grand Trunk route

Movement of mail and express trains on Grand Trunk  route was badly affected due to foggy weather condition. Most of the Delhi bound passenger trains originating from Delhi were running late on Monday causing hardship to the passengers at Nagpur station. According to Railway officials, 12 trains are running behind their schedule.
The worst affected trains include: 12295 Banglore-Patna Sanghamitra express and 12406 H. Nizamuddin-Bhusawal Gondawana express. Both trains are running late by eight hours. 12724 New Delhi-Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh express, 22694 H. Nizamuddin-Banglore Rajdhani express are running four hours behind the schedule.

Other trains including 12810 Howrah-CST Mumbai Mail is running late by 1.30 hours, 12622 New Delhi-Chennai Tamilnadu express is late by 5 hours, 14260 Bhuwneshwar-Chennai express is late by three hours, 12102 Howrah-LTT Dhnyaneshwari express is late by 1.45 hours, 12722 H. Nizamuddin-Hyderabad Dakshin express is behind schedule by three hours, 12296 Patna-Banlore Sanghamitra express is late by three hours, 22404 New Delhi-Pondicheri express is delayed by six hours, 17609 Patna-Purna express is late by three hours, 12792 Patna-Sikandarabad express is late by 3.30 hours, 12616 New Delhi-Chennai GT express is late by four hours.

UP ATS arrest a doctor from Yavatmal district under anti-conversion law

On 10-08-21 Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh police arrested a doctor from Pusad town of Yavatmal district in connectin with a case registered at Gomti Nagar police station under anti-conversion law. It may be mentioned that three persons were arrested by UP ATS from Nagpur and Gadchiroli on July 17 in the same case. The accused person was identified as Dr. Faraz Shah Karamat Shah (27), a resident of Vasant Nagar, Pusad. A police official informed that Faraz was working with Shah Hospital at Pusad with his relatives after completing MBBS course from Government Medical College Akola in 2012. As per the records of Yavatmal police, Faraz was not a member of any organisation. The UP ATS had arrested some persons last month in Delhi and had claimed that a nation-wide racket of religious conversions was busted.
