As per their nefarious designs, they were to demand ransom of Rs five crore and ask Dr Chandak to come at Kanhan with the money. Girl concocts abduction story to marry Facebook friend

The couple also went to extent of demanding a ransom of s Rs two lakh from the girl's parents. Nayak was suspended in July 2015 for not joining his duties after transfer to Nagpur Range. Cops act swiftly, rescue kidnapped boy from Khapa

He had survived a nightmare of his life, since he was kidnapped from Manish Nagar on Thursday. There were people, mediamen, cops. Everyone trying to ask or tell something. But, the feeling of relief from a nightmare was so heavy on Chaitanya that he went straight to sleep, to get some rest, to have some time with himself, and to be ‘at home’. 14-year-old boy abducted from Manish Nagar locality

By Dheeraj Fartode Abduction of a 14-year-old teenager by unidentified persons from Manish Nagar locality has triggered panic in the city. The teenager was on way home after coming home from school, Montfort, when unidentified persons travelling in a four wheeler whisked him away on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred under jurisdiction of Sonegaon police station. The teenager is identified as Chaitanya Subhash Ashtankar (14) -- a student of standard VIII. The abduction was witnessed by the teenager's friend and when former was just 100 metres from his home. The kidnappers bundled him in car and drove away from the spot. Cops are groping in dark as parents of the victim told the investigators that they have no enemy nor do they have received any ransom call.
