Local Crime Branch (LCB) of Nagpur Rural Police busted a five-member gang of thieves involved in thefts in companies. The police have recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 4.56 lakh from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Ajay Murlidhar Shebe (23), a resident of Wadoda; Ravi Bonda Prajapati (42), Rakesh Dharmapal Prajapati (25), both residents of Kalamna slums, Kamptee Road; Atik Rafique Khan (29), a resident of Uappalwadi, Kapil Nagar and scrap dealer Ganga Shahu (45), a resident of Kamal Chowk, Pachpaoli, Nagpur.
According to police, the gang recently stole transformer, electric motors, and other material from King Rider company on Wadoda-Kuhi road. A case was registered at Kuhi police station in this regard. During investigation, the police identified the accused and arrested them. During interrogation, the accused confessed for committing thefts in two companies.
Under the guidance of SP Rakesh Ola, Addl SP Rahul Maknikar, the arrest was made by PI LCB Anil Jittawar, API Jitendra Wairagade, PSI Sachin Matte, ASI Laxmiprasad Dubey and staff including Vinod Kale, Shailesh Yadav, Satyasheel Kothare, Arvind Bhagat, Pranay Banafar, Virendra Narad, Sahebrao Bahale and others.
