A car overturned near Sai Mandir on Wardha Road after hit by another car on Wednesday. Both the vehicles badly damaged in the accident but no one was seriously injured in the accident.
Upon receiving information about the accident, a team of Dhantoli Police rushed to the spot and the vehicles were cleared from the road with the help of a crane.
On the basis of complaint filed by Snehal Udaram Shende (30), a resident of Ravindra Nagar, Chandrapur, the police have registered a case against Rahul Narayanrao Bawankule (35), a resident of Ulhas Nagar, Manewada.
According to police, Snehal was going to Chandrapur with his three friends in a car. While Rahul was going to Prashant Nagar from Vivekanand Nagar.
Both vehicles were plying at great speed as there was no traffic on the road. While crossing Sai Mandir square, Rahul suddenly hit Ravindra's car. Ravindra tried to avoid the collision and turned the steering to the left. However, his vehicle overturned after hitting the pavement of the signal.
Passers-by gathered to the spot and alerted the police. PSI Teke of Dhantoli police station along with his team arrived at the spot. No one was injured in the accident. With the help of a crane, the vehicle was cleared from the road.
