Shocker : Push to reopen Dabo Club after Christmas Night double murder

Dabo club Nagpur Efforts to reopen the controversial Dabo Club, which was shut down for 45 days following the murder of two young men, have triggered strong anger and fear among the families of the victims. The incident took place in the early hours of December 26 last year during a Christmas party at Dabo Club. Pranav Ranavare (27) was allegedly killed after a minor dispute. His friend, Gaurav Karda (34), was badly injured in the same incident and later died during treatment.  The Sonegaon police arrested six accused - Soumya Deshmukh, Mehul alias Monu Rahate, Rajiv Chawla, Abhay Jhamtani, Gappu Sharma and Tushar Nankani. All the accused are currently lodged in jail. The club is owned by Directors Devyani Vijay Wadettiwar, Karan Vikram Thakkar and Mohd Hamza Rayeen. Oxygen supplier robbed of Rs 40,000 in Civil Lines

An oxygen supplier was robbed of Rs 40,000/- cash by four robbers in Sitabuldi police station area in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to police, Akshay Kishore Madavi (22), a resident of New Futala area, works as ward boy with Dande Hospital and also supplies oxygen and kits to patients in coordination with a private agency. After supplying oxygen cylinders to patients and collecting money for the same, Madavi had gone to Mominpura for dinner at around 12.30 am. After having dinner, he was going home on a motorcycle. Four youths stopped him near the State Board’s office in Civil Lines on pretext of inquiring an address at 3.50 am. Before he could understand anything, the robbers caught hold of him and snatched his packet containing the cash with Aadhar, PAN and Debit cards. The robbers sped away from the spot on a motorcycle.
Madavi approached Sitabuldi police station and lodged a complaint. PSI Rasool Sheikh informed that an offence under Sections 392 and 34 of Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused persons. “We are checking CCTV footage to identify the robbers,” he said.
