A gang of mobile thieves was busted by Pachpaoli police and recovered 19 stolen mobile phones worth Rs 2.70 lakh from their possession. The accused have stolen more than 200 mobile phones in last two years and disposed of in the Hydarabad.
The accused have been identified as Rupesh Vijay Kshirsagar (20) and Rajesh Baburao Meshram (18), both residents of Pawansut Nagar, Hudkeshwar.

During investigation, the police identified the accused and picked them from the residence. The interrogation of the accused revealed that they were stealing mobile phones across the city from last two years. “The accused are the part of seven-member gang of mobile thieves. They have stolen more than 200 mobile phones and disposed of in Hyderabd where the receiver was reselling the phones after changing its International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number,” informed PI Ashok Meshram of Pachpaoli police station.
