According to Senior Police Inspector of Gittikhadan Police Station Rajendra Nikam, Bhagat met her parents on April 14 and as he and his family were travelling to Bhopal he would like to take the teenager girl along on the trip. However after leaving with the girl, Bhagat allegedly went to MLA Hostel where he first assaulted her in the parking lot.
Later Bhagat booked a room (320) at MLA Hostel where Bhagat allegedly raped her for four days. According to police, Bhagat was exploiting the teenage girl during day hours. Incidentally, the girl was dating Bhadre and two had already crossed limits. Hence during the night, Bhadre would visit the girl and they would get physical.
The girl returned home alone on April 18. Bhagat arrived at girl’s house the next day and told her parents that the girl was not with him for four days and picked up a quarrel with her parents. Angry over Bhagat’s behaviour, the girl packed her bag and fled from the house. As the girl did not return home and her phone was switched off, the  parents approached Gittikhadan Police Station and lodged a complaint. The cops immediately swung into action and registered the case under Section 363 and arrested Bhagat.
During interrogation, Bhagat spilled the beans and informed the name of boyfriend of the girl -- Rajat Bhadre. The cops immediately rounded up Bhadre from his residence who told the police that the girl is going to Agra by a train. The cops contacted the girl on the basis of phone number given by the Bhadre and asked her to deboard at Katol Railway Station. The police brought the girl to police station early morning of Thursday.
As cops tried to figure out the case they put the girl under sustained interrogation. As the girl started talking the police were shocked and understood complications. The teenager was sent to medical which confirmed sexual assault.
On the basis of statement given by the girl, the cops have added Section 376 (d) of Indian Penal Code read with sub-sections 3, 4 of Protection of children from sexual offences act.

IGP Mallikarjuna Prasanna By Dheeraj Fartode  Published on Feb/17/2019 NOT many are aware of an episode during the then US President Barack Obama’s visit to India in 2010. The world’s most powerful man was made to wait for 11 minutes in his car while an Indian cop took on American officials for their unwarranted interference in the US President’s security. KM Mallikarjuna Prasanna, Special Inspector General of Police of Nagpur Range, still continues to work with the same pride, wearing his patriotism on the sleeve. “Had they (Americans) deployed their personnel for area security, then the message would have been Indians are unable to protect VIPs in their nation,” recounted Prasanna on the episode that is one of the highlights of his distinguished career of a skillful investigator. The story of the IPS officer of 2000 batch is worth a film. In fact, a movie (Nagarjun-starrer ‘Officer’) has already been made by Ram Gopal Verma last year. His real life script also ha

However, the banks were submerged in water after the construction of Gosikhurd dam which led to rise in water levels. Since then, tourist flow at Ambhora has also declined.
