Dabo club Nagpur Efforts to reopen the controversial Dabo Club, which was shut down for 45 days following the murder of two young men, have triggered strong anger and fear among the families of the victims. The incident took place in the early hours of December 26 last year during a Christmas party at Dabo Club. Pranav Ranavare (27) was allegedly killed after a minor dispute. His friend, Gaurav Karda (34), was badly injured in the same incident and later died during treatment. The Sonegaon police arrested six accused - Soumya Deshmukh, Mehul alias Monu Rahate, Rajiv Chawla, Abhay Jhamtani, Gappu Sharma and Tushar Nankani. All the accused are currently lodged in jail. The club is owned by Directors Devyani Vijay Wadettiwar, Karan Vikram Thakkar and Mohd Hamza Rayeen. By Dheeraj FartodeBharatiya Janata Party has decided to conduct 300 big rallies across Maharashtra by roping in senior Cabinet Ministers, BJP stalwarts, chief ministers of BJP rules states and some very popular BJP leaders from length and breadth of the country.
The senior Cabinet minister of NDA Government will address rallies at all major towns while BJP rules Chief Ministers have been asked to take care of specified areas and to galvanise the cadre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to address at least 15 rallies across Maharashtra and schedule will be finalised after his return from US, BJP sources informed. If necessary, Prime Minister Modi will address upto 20 rallies in state to ensure party’s victory in ensuing assembly polls.
Senior organisational functionaries will supervise and fine-tune party strategy to spread good word about Good Governance of Modi and positive developmental agenda of State BJP. The party’s social media cell has already launched a very effective on-line campaign using several social media platforms.
BJP-Sena alliance to continue in BMC: Fadnavis
Devendra Fadanvis while talking with media said that alliance with Sena will remain intact in all municipal corporation and municipal councils. “BJP alliance will remain at Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and there is no threat for Sena at BMC,” said Fadanvis.
Informing about future campaign plan of BJP in state, Fadnavis said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address more than 20 rallies in the state and the party is also planning 750 small rallies. “BJP has big plan of campaign as the party would launch aggressive campaign between October 3 and 13. The cadre will reach to each corner of the state to topple the Congress and NCP,” said Fadnavis.
Claiming no misunderstanding between BJP alliance, Fadnavis announced that Rashtriya Samaj Paksha is contesting six assembly seats in the state. Replying on question upon split between BJP-Sena alliance, the state president said that voters would decide, which party was responsible for the split. He also claimed that voting percentage would increase in upcoming election.
