Delhi Government must take stern action against encroachments by extremist Muslims: VHP Chief

"It will have dangerous consequences if the Delhi Government does not control the extremist Muslims that are flouting and disregarding all law & order in the national capital by forcibly constructing a mosque on the Municipal Corporation land!” stated Sri Ashok Singhal, Patron of Vishva Hindu Parishad (International) in a media conference here.  He asked: “Is it the teaching of Islam to forcibly offer Namaz flouting all law and setting aside the orders of the Hon’ble Delhi High Court on the Corporation and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) land?” He informed, “Without concord, any big Dharmic or religious activity whatsoever and especially the question of constructing a mosque is contrary to even Muslim law.”  Forcible construction of mosque in front of the Red Fort and offering Namaz there are acts of provocation, aggression and invitation to rancour and disgust between the Hindus and Muslims in the region of Delhi that needs to be prohibited.

From the standpoint of the Hindu society, Delhi was built as Indraprastha by Emperor Yudhisthir over 5,000 years ago as the capital city of the Pandavas, and the ruins found in every nook & corner of this city and region are the remnants of temples, huge buildings, forts and architectural pieces. The illegal and conspiratorial activities that are underway to grab land citing it as the remnants of Akbarvadi Mosque and unilaterally declaring it as a mosque without examinations by the Archaeological Department, stopping of which misadventure and idiocy has been strictly ordered by the Hon’ble High Court as well as the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to the Delhi Police, but the Delhi Police instead of stopping the extremists is engaged in suppressing the Sants and the Hindu society that are opposing such illegal activities.

It appears that this encroachment by extremist Muslims enjoys the protection of the police. The most astonishing fact on the part of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dikshit is that by not ordering the Delhi Police to take stern action she is herself flouting the law. The manner in which the macho late Sanjay Gandhi in the ‘70s not caring for Muslim votes had removed encroachments in Delhi, today similar hard decisions need to be taken. If to Smt. Dikshit the Delhi Police appears inadequate in controlling the situation, in that case she should call in the military to handle the job. Law would prevail in Delhi – the message and hints should go by her actions. If Smt. Dikshit does not sternly control the situation, then an extremely explosive situation cannot be prevented from developing and the people have to stand against it. Vishva Hindu Parishad will be compelled to take out demonstrations in all areas and Mohallas throughout Delhi. It is the paramount duty of the government to ensure control over these extremist forces under all circumstances.

IGP Mallikarjuna Prasanna By Dheeraj Fartode  Published on Feb/17/2019 NOT many are aware of an episode during the then US President Barack Obama’s visit to India in 2010. The world’s most powerful man was made to wait for 11 minutes in his car while an Indian cop took on American officials for their unwarranted interference in the US President’s security. KM Mallikarjuna Prasanna, Special Inspector General of Police of Nagpur Range, still continues to work with the same pride, wearing his patriotism on the sleeve. “Had they (Americans) deployed their personnel for area security, then the message would have been Indians are unable to protect VIPs in their nation,” recounted Prasanna on the episode that is one of the highlights of his distinguished career of a skillful investigator. The story of the IPS officer of 2000 batch is worth a film. In fact, a movie (Nagarjun-starrer ‘Officer’) has already been made by Ram Gopal Verma last year. His real life script als...
